Refund & Return Policy

At Shuchi Bites, we aim to provide you with premium-quality roasted makhana snacks delivered fresh to your doorstep. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds work for your orders.


1. Eligibility for Returns & Replacements

Being a consumable food product, we only accept returns or offer replacements in the following genuine cases:

Damaged Product Received

If the product is delivered in a torn, crushed, or leaked condition.

Wrong Item Delivered

If you receive a different flavour or pack size than what you ordered.

Expired Product Received

If the product is delivered past its expiry date.

Quality Issue

If the product has an unusual texture, aroma, or taste.

Note: We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or partially consumed packs

  • Change of mind or dislike of flavour

  • If the product’s packaging is intact but you simply no longer want it


2. Time Window for Complaint

You must raise a return or refund request within 48 hours of delivery.

After the 48-hour window, we may not be able to process the request due to food safety standards.


3. Proof Required

To process your request, kindly share:

  • Order ID

  • Clear photos/videos of the product

  • Clear photos of the outer packaging

  • Description of the issue

This helps us investigate and provide a faster resolution.


4. Return Process

Depending on the issue, we may offer:

Replacement

We will send you a new pack at no extra charge.

Refund

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit that can be used on future orders.

You may not need to physically return the product unless our team requests it.


5. Refund Timeline

Once approved:

  • Online payment refunds: 5–7 business days

  • UPI refunds: 2–4 business days

  • Store credit: Within 24 hours

Timelines depend on your bank or payment gateway.


6. Order Cancellation

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded unless covered under the above conditions.
